The idea for the project came after reading the book “Eat That Frog” by Brian Tracy, which is about what we need to do and how we should write our plans/goals to be more efficient and more or less organized. I was also marking notes, but on a piece of paper, which turned out to be tiring. That's why I started looking for an app that would help me more easily bookmark my plans. Although all of them had the basic functionality needed to store plans, they still lacked some details that were important to me.
The book mentions that in addition to writing down our plans/goals, we need to analyze and statistically count them. How many goals we have achieved in a particular period of time (week, month, year, or any other period of time). This will help us to know the percentage of success of our assignments. In addition to textual information, the application we’ve been working on will also display graphical information to be more perceptible to the eye. Its users will be able to compare any two periods of time and analyze when they were most effective.
3rd and 4th year students of Computer Science are voluntarily involved into the project. We plan to have the initial version of a website by the end of this year and we will present it to all interested individuals and we will be happy to hear their evaluations or recommendations. We will actively listen to user feedback and recommendations, which we will of course discuss and consider in future versions. At the same time, we will start working on the app.
