Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia announces a funding competition for Master’s students study and research projects 2021. The purpose of the funding is to support the increase of the quality of scientific research, raising the academic level and development of research skills within the framework of the master's thesis, as well as improving the scientific-research potential of the Georgian higher education institution.

Main conditions of the competition:

  • Only individual study-research grants will be awarded within the framework of the competition;
  • Within the framework of the competition, a grant can be obtained by a citizen of Georgia, enrolled in an accredited educational program for a Master's degree at a higher education institution of Georgia, a student with active student status;
  • At the time of receiving the grant, the Master's student must be a graduate of the Master's educational program or a student of the last semester;
  • The duration of the project can be a min of 4 and a max of 10 months;
  • The amount of a grant requested from the fund should not exceed 6000 GEL;
  • Master's scholarship should not exceed 1200 GEL;
  • It is not allowed to submit more than one application by the same person in the competition.
  • The deadline for electronic registration of projects is November 15 at 16:00.
