Organized by the School of Humanities and Law of the Georgian University, starting from September 28, 2022, one-month trainings with practical elements will be held in the following directions:
Civil law:
- The concept of civil law;
- Individuals and legal entities;
- Deals;
- Importance of deadlines in civil law;
- Property;
- Main types of contracts;
- Techniques of drawing up a claim and counterclaim;
- Court evidence;
- The role of the judge in civil cases.
Criminal law:
- Criminal liability. Concept and types of crime;
- Conducting an investigation;
- Questioning of a witness;
- Technique of drawing up arrest protocol;
- The essence of the investigative experiment;
- The procedure for conducting search and seizure.
- Rights of the defense (accused, lawyer) and prosecution (investigator and prosecutor);
- Types of punishment
- The role of the judge during criminal cases.
Administrative law:
- General Administrative Law of Georgia;
- The concept of administrative body;
- Administrative-legal act;
- Types of administrative proceedings;
- Freedom of information;
- Techniques for drafting an administrative claim;
- Types of administrative lawsuit;
- Court evidence;
- The role of the judge during the review of the administrative dispute.
Human rights:
- The concept of basic right and its elements;
- Absolute and non-absolute rights;
- Human dignity, the right to free development of a person - universal freedom of activity and general personal right;
- Right to live;
- Protection of personal and family life;
- Property rights;
- Freedom of thought, conscience, belief and religion;
- Freedom of expression;
- Prohibition of torture, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment;
- Techniques of drafting a constitutional claim;
- The role of the judge during the consideration of the constitutional dispute
The training is intended for 8-12 graders, and aims to introduce students to the main aspects of the field of law.
After the completion of training, certificates and symbolic gifts are issued.
The seats at the training are fully filled, registration is completed at this stage.
