On June 16th, Christopher Anderson, cultural attaché of the US Embassy in Georgia and the senior grants manager, Sophie Bzishvili, visited the St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia.
The honorary guests were received at the Georgian University by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia to the St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University Archbishop Jacob of Bodbe and the rector, prof. Irakli Brachuli. The main purpose of the visit was to meet with the delegation from Northern Kentucky University and with the students of the joint international master's degree program in cybersecurity.
Christopher Andersson discussed the diverse collaboration among strategically allied nations. He emphasized the significance of establishing a joint master's degree program in cybersecurity at SANGU, stating that it is crucial for ensuring the country's security.
During the meeting, the cultural attaché of the US Embassy engaged with the Georgian and foreign academic personnel. The attaché assured them of unwavering support in this endeavor.
