A group of students from Georgia have successfully arrived in the United States as part of the prestigious dual Master’s Degree program between St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia (SANGU) and Northern Kentucky University (NKU). This innovative program, the first of its kind in Georgia, offers a dual Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and represents a significant achievement in the collaboration between the two institutions.

The dual Master’s Degree program, which has already enrolled four cohorts and 120 students, is widely regarded as one of the most successful outcomes of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on demand, supported by the U.S. State Department. It exemplifies the fruitful partnership between Georgia and the U.S. in the field of education, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity—one of the most crucial sectors of the modern economy.

As part of their academic experience in the United States, the students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops, attend advanced classes and labs, and engage in meetings with leading companies to gain practical, hands-on experience in the field. They will also benefit from exposure to diverse cultural experiences, enhancing their global perspective.
Additionally, the students will take part in the annual Cybersecurity Symposium, further enriching their academic and professional journey. This program is designed not only to provide top-tier education but also to foster cross-cultural understanding and collaboration between Georgia and the U.S.
