On March 31, 2025, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University hosted a training session titled “Emergency Response Guidelines,” led by Mr. Tamaz Kvitia, a representative of the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

The aim of the training was to provide students and university staff with essential knowledge and practical recommendations for safe and effective behavior during various types of emergency situations. Mr. Kvitia discussed different types of emergencies in detail, shared real-life examples, and presented clear instructions on how to act in the event of fire, earthquake, flood, chemical accidents, and other critical scenarios.

The session was conducted in an interactive format, allowing students and staff to ask questions, engage in discussions, and explore practical case studies.

This event is especially important for strengthening the university's culture of safety and enhancing participants' ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations.

SANGU extends its sincere thanks to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Mr. Tamaz Kvitia for their cooperation and looks forward to organizing similar educational and practical events in the future to raise awareness and preparedness among students and staff.
