Translation and Interpreting School Announces New Enrollment

St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University invites all interested individuals to apply for the highly regarded program of the School of Translation and Interpreting — a pathway to professional development in translation, interpreting, and multilingual communication.

The School has been operating since 2011 with the support of the British Council and offers training in a state-of-the-art simultaneous interpreting laboratory equipped with professional-grade technology.

Modules Offered

• Theory of Translation
• Written and Oral Translation
• Simultaneous Interpreting
• Practical Stylistics in Georgian
• Second Foreign Language
• Field-Specific Translation
• Elective Courses: Intercultural Communication, Literary Translation

Applicants can choose 2-, 3-, or 4-semester modules. It is also possible to enroll in a 1-semester module with two or three elective subjects.

Tuition per semester: 1,400 GEL

The selection process includes written tests in Georgian and English, and an oral interview in English. Applicants with a C1 level in English are exempt from the written test.

Personal Data Processing

By submitting your registration information, you consent to the processing of your personal data by the university for the purposes of registration, communication, and enrollment in the Translation and Interpreting Program. This data includes: your name, surname, educational background, work experience, diploma, ID card, certificate confirming C1-level language proficiency (if applicable), phone number, and email address.

The personal data of applicants who are not admitted to the program will be deleted/destroyed by the university within one month after the end of the enrollment period.

Your data will not be shared with third parties. You have the right to request the blocking, transfer, objection, termination, deletion, or destruction of your personal data. In such cases, the university is obliged to take appropriate action within no more than ten working days from the date of your request.
