Joint Research Internship Grant Program: Rustaveli Foundation & French Institute

The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia announces the 2025 GFI Call for Proposals — a joint research internship program in collaboration with the French Institute of Georgia.

The aim of the competition is to promote scientific collaboration between Georgia and France, encourage career development for early-career researchers, and support joint engagement in international scientific projects.

Eligibility and Requirements:

  • Applicants must be Georgian citizens who hold a PhD or an equivalent academic degree obtained no more than 12 years prior to the announcement date.
  • A formal letter of support is required from a French university or research institution.
  • Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English or French.
  • The duration of the research internship in France is one month.
