Applied Research Competition at Alte University

Applications are now open for the Applied Research Competition announced by Alte University. The deadline for submission is 23 June 2025.

The goal of the competition is to support research initiatives aimed at generating new knowledge or applying existing knowledge in innovative ways to address specific, real-world problems or practical challenges.

Eligibility:

• Affiliated, invited, or academic staff and students of Alte University;
• Affiliated or invited academic staff and students of other higher education institutions registered in Georgia;
• Representatives of the business or innovation sectors.

The competition will fund the following types of applied research:

• Concept development and/or innovative idea generation;
• Pilot research projects;
• Implementation research.

The total budget allocated for funding the selected applied research projects is 200,000 GEL.
