On October 2, 2025, the international conference “Education and Science in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Innovations, Research, and International Cooperation” was opened under the organization of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia and the Horizon Europe National Office Georgia.
The Rector of St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University, Academician Irakli Brachuli, participated in the conference and spoke about universities’ strategic visions and the importance of artificial intelligence development.
The attendees were also addressed by Professor Paata Turava, Head of the Master’s Program in Public Administration at SANGU.
The two-day conference will continue on October 3, when Luka Kurdgelia, Advisor to the Rector of SANGU, will deliver a presentation on the topic “Implementation of Artificial Intelligence at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University: Experience and Challenges.”
Such international conferences serve as an important platform for universities, researchers, and policymakers. They promote the exchange of experience and innovative approaches, the establishment of new collaborations in research and education, and the strengthening of the country’s intellectual potential in a global context.
