The 13th Smart Cities International Conference (SCIC) will be held in Bucharest, Romania from December 3–5, 2025, under the theme “Leading for People, Accelerating with Digital.”

International Conference “Smart Cities 2025” in Bucharest

The 13th Smart Cities International Conference (SCIC) will be held in Bucharest, Romania from December 3–5, 2025, under the theme “Leading for People, Accelerating with Digital.”

The event marks the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Public Administration and aims to bring together academics, policymakers, and early-stage researchers to discuss innovations in digital governance and the development of smart cities.

The main conference tracks include Smart Governance, Smart Economy, Smart Environment, Smart Technology, Smart Education, and Future Trends. Accepted papers will undergo peer review and may be published in conference proceedings or partner journals. Participation and publication are free of charge.

A Doctoral Workshop will take place on December 3, 2025, offering PhD candidates the opportunity to present their research and engage in discussions with international experts.

Abstract submission deadline: October 26, 2025
Final paper submission deadline: November 30, 2025
