Students of St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University took part in the large-scale youth festival “StudFest 2025,” one of the most significant and diverse student initiatives in Georgia.
The closing ceremony was opened by Mr. Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, who congratulated the successful participants and emphasized the importance of education, healthy lifestyles and active civic engagement among young people.
More than 15,000 students participated in the festival, with over 400 awardees receiving prizes and certificates. At the closing event, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University received an award for successful participation.
The University was represented by the Rector, Prof. Irakli Brachiuli, and the President of the Student Government, Nikoloz Kokaia. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry and City Hall, the Youth Agency, university rectors and students.
“StudFest 2025” was held in two stages across four key areas: education, sports, culture and volunteering. The sports program featured a wide range of activities, including futsal, 3x3 basketball, street football, chess, volleyball, debates, bowling, sambo, climbing, eSports (FIFA) and other competitions.
By participating in the festival, SANGU students demonstrated strong motivation, teamwork and active engagement in youth initiatives. The University congratulates our students on their achievements and thanks them for representing SANGU with distinction.
