On 19 December, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University hosted students from the Iakob Gogebashvili School. The visit was held within the framework of an Open Day and aimed to introduce senior school students to the university’s academic environment and educational opportunities.
SANGU Ambassadors guided the visitors around the university campus and presented information about academic programs. The students learned about the university’s academic fields, student life, and learning opportunities.
The Open Day program also included thematic sessions. Professor Giorgi Basiladze, Head of the Computer Science and Cybersecurity Programs, spoke to students about the importance of cyber hygiene.
In addition, Kakhaber Revazishvili, Head of the Information Technologies and Electronic Resources Regulation Service, discussed the principles of secure coding and demonstrated a cyber attack simulation.
The sessions provided students with practical and informative experience and highlighted the importance of safe and responsible use of modern technologies.
