On June 15, a meeting with doctoral students was held at SANGU. The event focused on contemporary trends and current issues related to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in scientific research and academic activities.
During the meeting, participants were introduced to the university’s recommendations and guidelines on the ethical, responsible, and academically sound use of generative AI. Discussions covered the potential applications of AI in research planning, information retrieval, data analysis, and the preparation of academic texts, as well as the ethical and academic standards that regulate its use.
Particular attention was paid to the principles of academic integrity, plagiarism prevention, and the importance of transparently disclosing the use of AI in research papers and scholarly texts. Participants received practical recommendations on the proper declaration of AI-assisted work and the correct citation of sources in accordance with international academic standards and university regulations.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, providing doctoral students with the opportunity to discuss the practical, ethical, and research-related aspects of AI use and receive answers to their questions.
