SANGU Library has launched an internship program in library fund management for student employment and career development. Within the project interns will be able to learn how to manage a book fund, process books, and acquire the skills needed for library activities.
Regarding the importance of the internship program, Natia Sadghobelashvili, Head of the SANGU Library, says that the library is one of the most important and guiding links in the university space. It is important that it develops and meets the interests of the students and at the same time, the students also see their contribution to the development of the library.
Through the internship, the student will be able to get acquainted with library activities and see in this seemingly forgotten profession the opportunities that have already been noticed in developed countries, which is why the university life of the whole Western world is based on a library equipped with modern digital technologies and resources.
Eva Shamkhalashvili - I think this place is for people who like to interact with books. Library activities are very interesting, because with the constant relationship with books, and in the environment offered by SANGU, human education is proven and perfected. and before that you can join the ongoing charitable-educational project, which is aimed at collecting books for orphans. Anyone can leave any kind of literature in the book box in the SANGU library. Collection of books will continue until the end of April.
