On October 7, 8, and 9, 2024, Georgian University will host a series of public lectures by Professor Roman Strasser, focusing on the functioning of the European Union.
Strasser has over 36 years of experience in the European Parliament, including roles as a political advisor and head of various departments. He is also the first secretary general of the European Parliament-Georgia friendship group.
Lecture Topics:
October 7: Creation and development of the European Union from the 1950s to present; functioning of European institutions and bodies.
October 8: Specifics of the work of the European Parliament.
October 9: Development of European legislation; the EU's role in citizens' lives; challenges facing the EU by the end of 2024; Georgia's European and transatlantic future.
