One-Year Teacher Training Program

SANGU offers 40% tuition support to all students enrolled in the program (excluding state-funded places).

Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a teaching certificate, granting the right to work in various subject areas (primary, basic, and secondary levels, special education, foreign languages, etc.).

Lecturers include some of the best specialists in Georgia, including expert consultants from the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, who have participated in Millennium Challenge and Teachers’ House projects.

Employed students are offered a flexible class schedule.

The program offers diverse school-based practice in schools proposed by the university or chosen by the student.

SANGU provides a top-tier learning environment with advanced real and virtual laboratories, especially in the natural sciences.

After completing the program, graduates are awarded a teacher’s certificate and are eligible to work as teachers in their certified subject area.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and have subject area competence confirmed by the National Assessment and Examinations Center.

Additional Requirements for Special Education Program

Applicants must pass the special education basic professional skills exam and have at least two years of experience in educational institutions (schools, kindergartens, day centers, etc.). Graduates receive a Special Education Teacher Certificate.

University Interview

Following the registration deadline, internal interviews will be held. Applicants will receive details via email.
