Ana Ambroladze

1.Why did you decide to enroll in the School of Translation and Interpreting?
-I wanted to enroll in the School of Translation and Interpreting for my professional development. I completed a Master’s program in Translation and Intercultural Relations, however, simultaneous interpreting was not included there, and consecutive interpreting was covered only partially. It seemed very interesting, so I wanted to explore the diversity of translation more deeply.

2.How was the learning process organized?
-The learning process was very well organized. There was a structured schedule adapted to students’ needs.

3.What would you say about the lecturers?
-The lecturers are professionals in their field and had a very approachable attitude towards students. They were always ready to consider our needs and wishes. Each of them was a source of inspiration and motivation for me; whenever I struggled to complete assignments, they reminded me that every skill comes with practice and effort, and that every professional starts from zero. I am grateful for their work, dedication, and for constantly sharing their practical experience with us.

4.Did your expectations meet reality and what would you advise future applicants?
-My expectations were not only met but exceeded. With its balanced theoretical and practical approach, it is comparable to any Master’s program. Studying here was a great experience for me and gave me a lot. The knowledge gained needs to be further developed in practice, but if I become an interpreter in the future, it will be thanks to the School of Translation and Interpreting. So I would definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in translation or in need of it professionally.

5.Your wishes for our school
-I personally learned about this school from a lecturer. Unfortunately, the school lacks visibility and I would like this to change. I believe that English language specialists and translators should be introduced to this school and its courses from the bachelor level; through cooperation with universities, students will gain essential knowledge, skills, and experience, which will contribute to the popularity of the profession and increase the demand for professionals. The existence, development, and promotion of the School of Translation and Interpreting are essential for making this a reality.

Mariam Silagadze

1.Why did you decide to enroll in the School of Translation and Interpreting?
-I had heard many good things about SANGU’s School of Translation and Interpreting, so when I decided to learn a new profession and improve my English, I chose this school without hesitation.

2.How was the learning process organized?
-The learning process was fully organized. The schedule was adapted to students as much as possible, and the study materials were structured and modern. I would especially highlight the balance between theoretical and practical elements, which is crucial for this profession, as well as the technical infrastructure, as the use of modern equipment made the learning process much more effective.

3.What would you say about the lecturers?
-The lecturers are true professionals. I constantly felt their support and willingness to share not only theoretical knowledge but also real practical experience. It was a great honor for me to study with them.

4.Did your expectations meet reality and what would you advise future applicants?
-My expectations were 100% met, as I gained knowledge and experience that will definitely be useful in real life.

5.Your wishes for our school
-I would like more people to know about this school, because such high-level specialists and a well-equipped environment truly deserve greater visibility. Best wishes!

1.Why did you decide to enroll in the School of Translation and Interpreting?
-I decided to enroll for professional development. Although I had completed a Master’s degree in Translation Studies, I wanted to develop my skills in interpreting. On the recommendation of one of my lecturers, I enrolled in the School of Translation and Interpreting.

2.How was the learning process organized?
-The learning process was well organized and fully adapted to students’ needs. Although I have studied in many programs, I have never encountered such organization and attention to student needs before.

3.What would you say about the lecturers?
-Each of them is a highly professional lecturer. In addition to their strong subject knowledge, they use diverse teaching methods. They stand out for their individual approach to each student, are always supportive, and encourage learners.

4.Did your expectations meet reality and what would you advise future applicants?
-From the beginning I had a positive attitude towards the school, but the results exceeded my expectations. I faced many challenges during the learning process, but with the help of the lecturers I overcame them. The process was very interesting and diverse, and overcoming challenges gave me even more motivation. I would advise future applicants to definitely enroll and complete the course, because the knowledge gained here is highly practical and multifaceted. I am sure every student will realize at the end that their effort was truly worthwhile.

5.Your wishes for our school
-I would like more people to be interested in this school. The course is no less valuable than, and in some cases even exceeds, a Master’s program, yet not many people are aware of it. I would like it to be properly recognized.
